Confined Space and Rescue
Whilst working in confined spaces is a last resort, we know it is often unavoidable. Confined space (CS) operations demand careful management and respect for safety protocols. From the initial classification of the space to the procurement of specialised equipment, every step is crucial. Proper documentation and staff training ensure that everyone is equipped with the knowledge and skills to operate safely. It is imperative to approach these environments with the seriousness they warrant, safeguarding both personnel and operations. Hydrotec have years of experience operating in a variety of confined spaces, from low to high-risk.
Our teams are high-risk confined space entry trained and can carry out a range of tanks including cleaning, inspection and repair within your CS. Equipped with the latest safety equipment including gas monitors, harnesses, ATEX rated communication tools and lighting. We also have fully trained rescue teams, able to work alongside the entrants to provide compliance in addition to peace of mind. We can also work alongside you to formally categorise your confined spaces, enabling you to determine the correct level of controls.
Where entry to the confined space can’t be avoided, we also have the option of using one of our tank cleaning crawler robots. Sized to fit through manways, our robots require minimal enabling and are suited to many projects.
