Treatment & Segregation
On-site segregation of hazardous wastes, including oils and acids, is essential for effective waste management and environmental protection. This process involves carefully sorting and separating hazardous materials at the point of generation, ensuring that incompatible substances do not mix and lead to dangerous reactions or contamination. Oils, which can pose significant environmental risks if improperly disposed of, require specific containment methods to prevent leaks and spills. Similarly, acids must be stored in appropriate, corrosion-resistant containers to mitigate hazards.
Re-Packaging
It is imperative that UN approved containers are used for the transport of hazardous wastes. We operate a range of pumps which are capable of repackaging both solid and liquid wastes from tanks, pits or defective and cut-off IBCs. It is also critical that wastes are adequately labelled during transport.
